Dogfight format : That means that you pick one plane as Pilot, if you crash or disco or whatever you can join as reargunner!
If it is a non fatal take-off accident or early disconnect you may take another plane but your side will be penalised with the plane loss.
So be very carefull on take off! Do not change planes before the starting time otherwise you will use up the planes of your fellow pilots and the Parser will go crazy! Thanks for understanding!
We will have Recon, bombing, baloon busting, interception, capping, night missions, Trains, spies, Docks attacks.
there is a limit of 25 flyable positions per side - that's 50 in total.
Now a fighter has 1 flyable position, a 2 seater 2 flyable positions and a heavy bomber 4 flyable positions.
Please be aware that these are big missions. If you have a 32 bit operating system adressing only 2 Gb of RAM it may be saturated - in which case you will get disconnected at mission launch.
The mission planner from each side must E-Mail Stenka with a mission file or extraction of their half of the map by 23:59 Saturday.
Note planes will be planned with 100% Fuel but it is not reliable you may get 0% fuel and an early bath. Loadouts are not locked.
Weapons mods are allowed.
It is the responsability of each and every pilot to check their loadouts before hitting fly. Yes that means fuel bombs and ammo.
Skins will be enabled on server unless we run in to performance problems.
We have reached up to 38 players. With extended lineup times and disconnects, anything we can do to reduce client memory problems and launch network traffic reduces problems.
Full night missions (onward)
4 Single engine fighters + Unlimited twin engine bombers, 250 Lb or 100 Kg loadouts. Time extension to 120 Minutes.

We apply a no restart policy.
We don't restart cos Jonny bent his prop - don't bother to ask.

Policy is planes must land on right side of lines by 90/120 minutes or be lost.
Gentlemen agreement : At 10 minutes to the end you should be attempting to regain your side of the lines not capping an enemy airfield.
Note Server Admin will try to post a 10 minutes to end message - not always possible if he is in flight.
If you are shot down or killed you must stay connected until plane hits ground.
Disconnects without landing after 60 minutes mean the plane is lost.
Other disconnects may be investigated by admin.
Only admin are allowed to record during mission. It can cause lag.
Only admin are allowed to open mission files in editor or refly missions for test purposes. Remember real recon is of major importance and the campaign becomes meaningless if you peek at the map in an editor. Both sides have copies of a pracice dogfight on the real map without recon objects so if you want a copy to practice on just ask.
Admin can not fly Recon.

Movement of ships only as far as can be sailed in 90 Minutes must start next mission from same place
Note very carefully that ROF declares planes unservicable for relatively superficial damage and if you screw your engine by overheating or overcooling it is out of the battle for at least 2 days while it's stripped and rebuilt.
Use throttle, radiator and mixture with care. Long descents need closed radiator.
Photos are only allowed from 2 Seaters yes 2 seaters not 4 seaters
Points awarded for photo and destroy in same mission
HQ......................1000
Yes you get not many extra points for destroying HQ on finding it and it will move away.
The optimum way of treating a HQ is to photo recon then return to attack it next mission. That way you can get 1800 points - but it may be defended.

The objective of the rules and points system is to provide competitive varied gameplay for as many competitors as possible.
They may be adjusted during the campaign by the admin comittee who treat all complaints.
Rules must be simple and the same for both sides.
The admin comittee is made up of the administrator for 69.GIAP:Stenka + the administrator LvA: Biggles
Administrators have confidential access to the mission file, can not participate in definition of plans/tactics or strategy, can not submit recon photos, but can fly under the leadership of others.
